International Photography Contest on Kerala

Contest Details: The photographs should be on Kerala and portray Kerala in a positive manner. A maximum of three images will be accepted from each participant. Entries to this competition must have been taken in the period - 1st January 2014 to 31st December, 2015. The photograph must be an original, unpublished work that does not contain, incorporate or otherwise use any content, material or element that is owned by a third party or entity. Digitally manipulated photos (using programs like Photoshop or any other software) will be disqualified. Digital adjustments including tone and contrast, burning, dodging, cropping, sharpening, noise reduction, minor cleaning work, HDR, stitched panoramas, adding or removing objects (e.g. animals, animal parts, plants or people) is not permitted. Selection Process: All the shortlisted pictures will be published on the www.keralatourism.org site with options for visitors to share and rate the photographs, 25% marks will be given on the basis of public ratings of the entries on the website and 75% marks will be accorded by the judging committee. How to apply: Participants can register for the contest at: https://www.keralatourism.org/photo_contest/register   All images should be submitted online through the Kerala Tourism website. For submission the login id and password received at the time of registration are to be used. Digital submissions must have at least 1000 Pixels and less than 3000 pixels in either height or width and saved as Jpegs (.jpg), and not exceed 4MB per file, at 72dpi resolution.
