Departments offering PhD: Computer Science & Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering Mechanical Engineering Eligibility: Candidates with a ME/ M.Tech. in relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% marks OR a CPI/ CGPA of 6.5 (on the scale of 10.00). Students who are currently in their final year in any of the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) can apply for direct admission to PhD after B.Tech. To be eligible for the admission under this category, a candidate is required to have a minimum CPI of at Least 7.5 (on a scale of 10) at the end of the seventh semester under OPEN and OBC categories. For SC/ST category students the minimum CPI requirement will be relaxed to 7.0. They must have qualified NET/ GATE score. How to Apply: Candidates may apply online. Pay application fee of Rs.500/- for General/ OBC and Rs.300/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates through online/ DD to be drawn in favor of the “Registrar, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur” issued by any nationalized bank, payable at Jabalpur. Selection Process: Preference will be given to those with qualified GATE/ JRF in CSIR-UGC NET and having published research work in international journals of repute. Relaxation for reserved category will be as per Govt. of India norms.
