M.Tech. Programme @ Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati

Adminissions Eligibility:
  • Bachelor's degree (in keeping with the 10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply:

Selection Process:
The selection process of PGDM-C involves three steps (Batch 2016-18):
  • Step - I: CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards).
    • Each candidate has to take at least one of the three exams: CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards).
  • Step-II: MICA Admission Test (MICAT).
    • Each candidate who applies to MICA with CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards) will be called for MICAT, subject to their application form being complete and accepted by MICA.
    • MICAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT).
    • The MICA Admission Test (MICAT) assesses leadership potential reflecting an aptitude for creative thinking, communication and customer-centricity.
    • The admission test is a multidimensional examination which assesses candidates in areas such as Divergent thinking abilities, Written communication abilities, General awareness about contemporary socio- political and business issues, including areas relevant to media, marketing, advertising and current affairs, Analytical and verbal abilities.
    • A section of the admission test will be a psychometric evaluation to assess the candidate's personality, characteristics and institutional fit.
    • MICAT will be held in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Raipur.
  • Step-III: Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI).
    • Based on their performance in the MICA Admission Test (MICAT), candidates are shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) to assess their overall personality, clarity in thought, ability to work in a team, knowledge, determination, maturity and fit into the culture of MICA.
    • Short listed candidates will be called for Group Exercise and Personal Interview at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai.

Issue of MICAT- I Call Letters: 8th December, 2015
Date of MICAT – I: 13th December, 2015
