 Scholarship Details:
- Number of Scholarships: 2
- Scholarship covers course fees, college fees and a grant for living costs for full-time students of at least £14,057 (students on part-time courses will receive a study support grant instead).
- Scholarships are made for the full duration of fee liability for the agreed course.
- Scholarship is only applicable for Somerville College in University of Oxford.
Eligibility:
- Scholarships are available for applicants who are either ordinarily resident in India or have previously studied at an Indian higher education institution.
- Applicant must be applying for one of the eligible master’s courses:
- M.Sc. in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management
- M.Sc. in Contemporary India
- Master of Public Policy
- M.Sc. in Water Science, Policy and Management
- M.Sc. in Environmental Change and Management
- M. Phil. in Development Studies and
- Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) or for a D. Phil. course with proposed research in the eligible areas of study.
- Applications for Indira Gandhi D.Phil. scholarships are invited from candidates whose proposed area of study is relevant to the Indira Gandhi Centre’s (IGC) agenda of inter-disciplinary research on sustainable development and India.
