Eligibility: The candidates should have at least a Degree in Science with Chemistry/ Biochemistry as one of the subjects or B.Sc. Degree in agriculture or Veterinary Science or B.Sc. in Home Science/ Nutrition and Dietetics/ Food and Nutrition/ Food Science and Nutrition from a recognised University securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Students who have obtained B.Sc. degree through correspondence are not eligible to apply. How to Apply: Candidates can download the application at institute website. Selection Process: Selection is strictly based on merit only. The candidates are required to appear for Written Test/ Interview conducted by DFRL. The syllabus for the written test will be based on the following subjects studied at the degree level such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Home Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food/ Food Science and Nutrition. One seat is reserved for a candidate obtaining B.Sc. degree in Food Science and Nutrition of the University of Mysore, Mysore.
