Programmes offered:
- Certificate of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (CRAV)- One year course (Chikitsak Guru Shishya Parampara).
- Member of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (MRAV)-Two years course (Acharya Guru Shishya Parampara)
Eligibility:
- Candidates possessing MD/ MS Degree in Ayurveda in any of the following subjects :- Kaya Chikitsa, Maulika Siddhantas, Kriya Sharira, Shalya, Shalakya, Vikriti vigyan, Prasuti Tantra, Bala-Roga, Dravyaguna Vigyan, Rasashastra, etc.
- This course is open for those candidates who have BAMS (Ayurvedacharya) and MD/ MS (Ayurved Vachaspati) degree included in 2nd schedule of IMCC Act-1970 from an Institution/ College and University.
- Good Knowledge of Sanskrit language is compulsory.
- Zeal to undertake critical study of texts of Ayurveda.
- Maximum 32 years. Relaxation up to 40 years will be given to regular Teachers duly sponsored by Government.
Stipend:
A stipend of Rs.15820/- plus DA at the rates applicable from time to time plus Rs.2500/- per month is provided to the students of MRAV course.

- Interested candidates may fill the Application Form and attached Admit Card (Format given separately) and enclose necessary copies of documents along with a Demand Draft for Rs.2000/- (for General & OBC candidates), for SC/ ST candidates the fee is Rs.1000/-, in favor of Director, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, payable at New Delhi.
- Applications should be sent to Director, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Dhanwantari Bhawan, Road No. 66, Punjabi Bagh (West), New Delhi – 110 026 through post/ or in person on or before the closing date.
Selection Process:
- The Entrance test would be conducted only if necessary. Otherwise, the admission will be based on interview.
- Candidates from outside the place of Guru will be selected in the course. The local students (permanent address/present address/nativity) of 250 kms or below from the place of guru will not be considered under such gurus.
- The number of students admitted under each Guru is minimum two and maximum five for the course.
- Preference will be given to working teachers.
