MCET AC 2015 Notification

Eligibility: Educational Qualifications as per medical council of India/ Dental council of India/ Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. Candidates possessing qualification of the University/ Board of an institution outside the AP State should submit a Eligibility/ Equivalence certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have qualified at MCET-AC-2015 and shall secure not less than 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ Bio-technology are eligible for admission into MBBS and BDS courses and they fulfill other relevant conditions laid down in these regulations as per Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India guide lines. Minimum age: Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years by 31st December, 2015. How to Apply: Candidates can apply online at https://www.digialm.com/EForms /configuredHtml/1128/2351/Registration.html Selection process: The counseling will be conducted basing upon the Rank obtained in MCET-AC 2015. The ranking will be on the basis of the 75% marks obtained in MCET- AC and 25% of the marks of science subjects of qualifying examination. For the preparation of merit list, in case of more than one candidate securing the same combined score obtained as per sub rule above, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative by successively considering the following:- The total marks secured in MCET-AC The marks secured in biology in MCET-AC The marks scored in physics in MCET-AC The percentage of aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination. If the tie still persists the date of birth of the concerned candidates, the older being given preference over the younger.
