Fields of Study: Japanese Language & Literature Japanese Studies Management Environmental Science Aerospace Engineering Civil Engineering/Earthquake Engineering Architecture Bio-Technology Electrical Engineering Electronics & Communications Engineering Information Technology/ Optical Fiber communication Physics/Laser Technology Material Science/Engineering Quality & Reliability Engineering Mechanical Engineering/Robotics Agriculture Fisheries. Scholarship details: Duration of the Scholarship: 2 Years Number of Scholarships: 30 (for each subject) Applicant will be provided a Scholarship worth 143,000 yen (Research Students(non-regular students), 144,000 yen (regular students in Master's courses or professional graduate courses), or 145,000 yen(regular students in doctoral courses) per month. Fees for the entrance examination, matriculation, and tuition at universities will be paid by the Japanese government. Eligibility:Candidates must have: For Research Student/Master's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field with minimum 65% marks. For PhD Degree: Master's degree in the relevant field with minimum 65% marks and having practical research/teaching/work experience after obtaining the prescribed qualification For Research Student/Master's degree in Japanese Language:Students who have completed Bachelor's degree/Master's degree course in Japanese Language from a recognized university. (OR) Students who have completed Bachelor's degree course in any subject from a recognized university and obtained N2 Certificate of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) conducted by the Japan Foundation. For PhD degree in Japanese Language: Completed Master degree course in Japanese Language from a recognized university. For Management Field: Candidates who want to apply under the Management field must possess a minimum GMAT score of 650 or CAT score of 95 percentile at the time of application. graduated throughout in regular courses (not correspondence or distance learning). Age Limit: Applicant must have been born on or after 2nd April, 1981 (Below 35 years as of 1 Apri12016).
