M.Tech. Program @ Indian Institute of Technology Mandi

Eligibility:(a) Candidates must hold a BE / B.Tech. / AMIE or equivalent degree in the Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Materials or Chemical disciplines/ branches. Candidates must have a valid GATE score. (b) Admission for IIT B.Tech. degree holder candidates having an IIT B.Tech. degree (in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Materials or Chemical branch) and having a CGPA/ CPI score of 8.00 (on scale of 10) and above are exempted from requirement of GATE qualification. (c) Candidates applying for the above mentioned M.Tech. program and who are sponsored by their employers do not require GATE score and can be considered as sponsored candidates provided (i) candidate has been in service for more than 2 years (ii) employer grants 2 years of study leave and (iii) employer undertakes to financially support the candidate for the entire duration of 2 years. (d) Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor’s program in 2015 can also apply and if selected can join the program provisionally. Candidates must have a valid GATE score.
