- Sr. Court Assistant (Sr. Translator)
Qualifications: i). Masters degree of a recognised university. ii). Diploma/ Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from university/ institute recognised by the Government. Or 3 years experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/ State Government offices/ Parliament/ State Legislature Secretariats or Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings/High Courts/Supreme Court of India. Knowledge of Computer Operation.
- Court Assistant (Jr. Translator)
Qualifications: i). Graduate with English/ Hindi as one of the languages at the degree level. ii). Diploma/ Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from university/ institute recognised by the Government; Or 2 years experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/ State Government offices/ Parliament/ State Legislature Secretariats or Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings/ High Courts. Knowledge of Computer Operation.
Age (As on 20/01/2015): 18- 27 years
Scheme of Examination:
- A written test of General English and General Knowledge with multiple choice answers (Objective Type) – 30 Marks.
- Translation from Hindi to English (60 Marks).
- Translation from English to Hindi (60 Marks).
How to Apply: The completed application in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents must reach "The Registrar (Admn. I), Supreme Court of India, New Delhi-110201".
