How to Apply
- Candidates should apply in the prescribed form available on the website.
- The downloaded form is to be submitted along with a draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of registrar, Jadavpur University payable at Kolkata, to the office of the dean and secretary, faculty of arts.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be selected through a written test of two hour duration and an interview to be held in the respective departments.
- However the candidates who have an M.Phil degree or have qualified NET/SET need not appear for written examination and can directly apply to appear for an interview.
- A candidate who has an M.Phil. degree from any university other than Jadavpur University will be required to submit a certificate from the competent authority stating that the selection to the M.Phil. course has been made through a written test and that a component of the course work of at least one semester duration was on research methodology.
Important Dates:
- Last date: 19th December, 2014.
- Date of written admission test: 06 January, 2015 to 08 January, 2015.
