Eligibility ME/M.Tech. or its equivalent degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent and pre-eligibility qualification for ME/M.Tech. or its equivalent should also be in first class with an aggregate of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent. BE/B.Tech./M.Sc./MA degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent. Rounding-off marks is not allowed. 18-30 years as on 07.03.2014. SC, ST, Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders on the subject. Selection procedure Only candidates fulfilling the essential conditions i.e. educational qualification, experience, age, etc, will be eligible for interview. Fellowship details Rs.18,000 for ME/M.Tech. and Rs.16,000 for others. In addition HRA and medical benefits will be allowed as per rules. How to apply Candidates are required to bring all relevant documents, certificates and mark sheets in original along with an application with full bio-data addressed to the Director, NESAC, Umiam.
