International Excellence Scholarship (Chemical Engineering) @ University of Birmingham

The International Excellence Scholarship is awarded to overseas undergraduate students who apply to study Chemical Engineering in recognition of academic excellence. A wide range of international qualifications will be considered.

Scholarships Details
This scholarship is valued at £1,500 individually, and will be added to the £1,500 International Entry Bursary to result in a total of £3,000 awarded as a tuition fee contribution. This scholarship will be paid directly to the School of Chemical Engineering on behalf of the award holder.

To retain the Excellence Scholarship, students must continue to perform at first class level – i.e. they must achieve an average mark of at least 70% at the end of each year.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Be classed as Overseas for fee purposes;
  • Have made a programme in Chemical Engineering their firm choice
  • Have achieved AAA at A Level or equivalent qualifications.
How to Apply: There is no special application process – the awards will be made automatically to all eligible students admitted to the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham who apply by the end of September to commence their studies in the October of their year of entry.
