Diploma Programmes @ JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled

Applications are invited from Differently Abled (Handicapped) students for admission in to three year diploma courses on all India Basis at JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled for the academic year 2014 -15. Programmes are as follows Agriculture Commercial Practice Aided Course Computer Science & Engineering Jewellery Design & Technology Electronics & Communication Engineering Computer Applications for the visually Impaired Eligibility Criteria Pass in Karnataka SSLC or its equivalent examination with minimum 35% of marks along with Nature & Degree of Disability: (a) Orthopedically Handicapped - 40% & above, (b) Hearing Impaired - 60db & above - For Courses 1 to 5 and (c) Partial and total Visual Impaired - For Courses 2 & 6. For Jewellery Design and Technology Course, Normal students are also eligible for admission under JSS Mahavidyapeetha Scheme. Selection Procedure Based on merit and performance in entrance test conducted by the institute.
