University of Pune (UOP), Pune, invites applications for admissions into 2 years Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in Instrumentation Science, Chemistry and Physics offered at their respective departments for the academic year 2014. Eligibility For M.Sc. in Instrumentation Science: Candidates must have passed B.Sc. with Physics / Electronics / Electronic Science / Instrumentation Science / Computer Science / Vocational Physics / Vocational Electronics or B.E. (E&TC) / (Instrumentation) are eligible. For M.Sc. in Chemistry: Candidates must have passed B.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry with minimum of 50% (Open) and 45% (Reserved). For M.Sc. in Physics Candidates must have passed B.Sc. in Physics/Electronics Science/Chemistry/ Mathematics. Candidates with engineering degree B.E. / B.Tech. are also eligible. Those appearing for the final year of B.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. degree examination to be conducted before June 2014 may also apply. How to Apply Candidates can apply online. Two payment modes are available i.e. cash (at any branch of HDFC Bank Ltd. or Bank of Maharashtra) or payment through online payment through bank transfer. For M.Sc. in Instrumentation Science both written examination and personal interview will be conducted by the university.
