University of Calcutta is inviting applications for admission into its PhD in History programme, for the session 2014. Eligibility CriteriaCandidates should hold a Master degree in the relevant discipline with 55% of marks from any of the UGC recognised universities. The candidates qualified in UGC (JRF) Examination, NET, SET examinations, and those who have M.Phil. degrees from recognized Universities, need not appear at the written examination for admissions. Application FeesThe candidate has to pay an application fee of Rs. 100.
