Scholarship Details The two-year M.Tech. inOffshore Structural Engineering at IIT Madras will open up exciting careers with L&T Hydrocarbon. On offer are opportunities to learn and execute complex projects with new technologies, including the challenging deep-water area worldwide. A stipend of Rs. 9000/- per month will be paid by L&T for the entire duration of the course. The top three (3) ranking successful students of the course will be awarded an amount of Rs 1 lakh each. On successful completion of the course, the candidates will be absorbed in regular employment in accordance with the terms and conditions of the company. Total emoluments on absorption will be up to Rs. 5 lakhs per annum on Cost-to-Company (CTC) basis. Eligibility First Class BE / B.Tech. Graduates with minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPA (or 55% marks / 6 CGPA for SC / ST candidates) in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized Indian University/ Institute and qualified in GATE. Not more than 23 years as on 1st August, 2014.
