Eligibility:
  • Candidates having M.Tech./ ME degree in a Engineering/ Technology, with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology (from any Institute other than IITs) in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 8.0 or 75% of marks.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.0.
  • Master’s degree in Science in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.5 or 70%.

Selection Process:
  • The Institute reserves the right to call a limited number of candidates for written test or/ and interview, based on performance in GATE/ NET, grades/ marks in the qualifying examination, etc.
  • The Institute may admit exceptionally bright students and full-time (Institute Fellows) directly if they secured the top rank in the last qualifying degree from a reputed Institute/ University including but not limited to the IITs, IISc. Bangalore, IIM, NITIE, IISER, NIT, NISER. This is subject to the sole discretion of the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna. In addition, applicant in this category must have all throughout first class academic career.

M.Tech. Programme @ Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati

Adminissions Eligibility:
  • Bachelor's degree (in keeping with the 10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.

Selection Process:
The selection process of PGDM-C involves three steps (Batch 2016-18):
  • Step - I: CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards).
    • Each candidate has to take at least one of the three exams: CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards).
  • Step-II: MICA Admission Test (MICAT).
    • Each candidate who applies to MICA with CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards) will be called for MICAT, subject to their application form being complete and accepted by MICA.
    • MICAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT).
    • The MICA Admission Test (MICAT) assesses leadership potential reflecting an aptitude for creative thinking, communication and customer-centricity.
    • The admission test is a multidimensional examination which assesses candidates in areas such as Divergent thinking abilities, Written communication abilities, General awareness about contemporary socio- political and business issues, including areas relevant to media, marketing, advertising and current affairs, Analytical and verbal abilities.
    • A section of the admission test will be a psychometric evaluation to assess the candidate's personality, characteristics and institutional fit.
    • MICAT will be held in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Raipur.
  • Step-III: Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI).
    • Based on their performance in the MICA Admission Test (MICAT), candidates are shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) to assess their overall personality, clarity in thought, ability to work in a team, knowledge, determination, maturity and fit into the culture of MICA.
    • Short listed candidates will be called for Group Exercise and Personal Interview at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai.

M.V.Sc. Programme @ Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati

Adminissions Eligibility:
  • Candidates must have passed B.V.Sc & A.H with minimum OGPA of 6.00/10.00 for general category (for SC/ ST/ PH-5.00/10.00) or 2.50/4.00 for general category (2.00/ 4.00 in case of SC/ ST/ PH ) or 60% marks in traditional system (for SC/ ST/ PH-55%).
  • Only residents of AP are eligible for admission except in case of ICAR Quota.

Selection Process:
  • The selection of the candidates shall be based on the previous academic record and entrance test as mentioned below.
  • B.V.Sc. & A.H/ B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) - 30%, Intermediate (10+2) -10%, 10th Class-5% and achievements in extra curricular activities 5% and performance in Entrance test- 50%.
  • The candidates getting 40% or more marks in entrance test only are eligible for admission. However, in case of SC/ ST/ PH candidates, there are no minimum qualifying marks and candidates are admitted to the extent of seats reserved for them.
  • SC/ ST/ PH candidates claiming seats under general category have to obtain at least 40% marks in the entrance test.
