Geddes Scholarship, 2015

Scholarships Scholarship Details:
  • Duration of the scholarship: 6 months.
  • Scholarship of Rs. 45,000/- will be given in two phases; the first installment at the commencement of the scholarship and the second installment after the submission of the complete project report.

Eligibility:
  • The scholarship is only open to Indian Nationals.
  • The applicant must be a student of planning and architecture at a graduate/postgraduate/research level from a recognized university or institution and /or young practicing professionals.
  • The applicants can be an individual or can be a collaborative work of a group of individuals.

Age Limit:
  • Applicants should be in the age group of 20 to 30 years.
How to Apply:
  • Interested candidates should send a two – page CV and a proposal of about 1500 words with reference to the specific city /section/mohalla along with a full postal and telephonic contact details together with any e-mail id via post or email.
  • The application should bear the title as ‘Sanskriti – Geddes Scholarship ’ on the envelope when sent by post to:

Oxford-Indira Gandhi Graduate Scholarships, 2016 @ University of Oxford

Scholarships Scholarship Details:
  • Number of Scholarships: 2
  • Scholarship covers course fees, college fees and a grant for living costs for full-time students of at least £14,057 (students on part-time courses will receive a study support grant instead).
  • Scholarships are made for the full duration of fee liability for the agreed course.
  • Scholarship is only applicable for Somerville College in University of Oxford.

Eligibility:
  • Scholarships are available for applicants who are either ordinarily resident in India or have previously studied at an Indian higher education institution.
  • Applicant must be applying for one of the eligible master’s courses:
    • M.Sc. in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management
    • M.Sc. in Contemporary India
    • Master of Public Policy
    • M.Sc. in Water Science, Policy and Management
    • M.Sc. in Environmental Change and Management
    • M. Phil. in Development Studies and
    • Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) or for a D. Phil. course with proposed research in the eligible areas of study.
  • Applications for Indira Gandhi D.Phil. scholarships are invited from candidates whose proposed area of study is relevant to the Indira Gandhi Centre’s (IGC) agenda of inter-disciplinary research on sustainable development and India.
