Application are invited from the retired Paramedical employees of Central Govt./State Govt./ ESI
corporation/ Quasi Govt./Municipal Body/Defence for being engaged on contract basis, at ESIC Model Hospital

Terms and conditions :
1. Appointment shall be for maximum duration of 1 year. The contract will be valid either up to the date
when regular staff joins duty on last come first go basis or when the contracted staff attains 65 years of
age or one year from the date of Appointment whichever is earlier .
2. Reservation will be done as per the Central Govt./ESIC rule.
3. The recruitment is purely on contractual basis.
4. Application not found in the prescribed pro-forma as per annexure – A or incomplete or unsigned
application or received after last date of the receipt of application or without required enclosure are
liable to be rejected and reason of rejection will not be communicated.
5. No interim correspondence/ enquiry will be entertained.
6. No TA shall be payable to any candidate for appearing in the interview.
7. Mere submission of application does not confer any right on the candidates to be called for examination
or interview.
8. Emoluments : Fixed remuneration of Rs. 15000/- (Rs. Fifty Thousand only) per month, subject to the
condition that pension plus remuneration should not exceed the last pay including DA drawn by the
official at the time of retirement.
9. Last date of application : Interested eligible candidate may send his/her application form completely
filled in all respects along with attested copies of documents so as to reach The Medical

10. At the time of appointment of selected candidate, candidate must have to submit their original

The Qualifications, Experience and Age for the posts are as under:
A. Qualifications & Experience:
 Assistant Professor (Civil Engineering):-
 (i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Civil
 Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of
 Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized university or institution.
 Note If a Class or division is not awarded, minimum of sixty percent marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent
 to first class or division. If a Grade Point System is adopted the Cumulative Grade Point Average will be converted into
 equivalent marks as below:-

 Assistant Professor (Applied Science –Physics & Chemistry):-
 Essential (i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least percent marks (or an equivalent
grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian
University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

 (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by
the University Grants Commission, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research or similar accredited by the University Grants
Commission like State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) or Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET).

 (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) above, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a
 Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of
 Ph.D. Degree) regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of National
Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test for Lectureship for recruitment and appointment of
Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities or Colleges or Institutions.

 (iv) National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test for Lectureship shall also not be required for
such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which National Eligibility Test/State Level Eligibility Test/State Eligibility Test for
Lectureship is not conducted.

 Note-1. Where the University or College or Institution declare results in grade point which is on a scale of seven. The
 following mechanism shall be referred to ascertain equivalent marks in percentage:-
 O-Outstanding, A-Very Good, B-Good, C-Average, D-Below Average, E-Poor, F-Fail.
