Applications are invited for the post of One Research Associate, Two Junior Research
Fellows, and One Project Assistant for a period of three years in the DBT sponsored Indo- UK
project entitled “Using flow cytometry and genomics to characterize and optimize micro algal
bacterial consortia cultivated on waste water to produce biomass for biofuel”. Applications on

Mode of selection: Entrance test followed by interview for JRFs. Interview for RA and PA.
Position : One Research Associate (RA)
Duration : Three years
Fellowship : Rs. 22,000/- pm + 20% HRA.
Qualification : Ph.D in (Microbiology/Botany/Life Sciences) with specialization in
Microalgae/cyanobacteria, Biofuel production.
Position : Two Junior Research Fellows (JRF)
Duration : Three years
Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/- pm + 20% HRA.
Qualification : M.Sc. (Microbiology/ Botany/Life Sciences) with specialization in
Microalgae/cyanobacteria, Biofuel production. Preference will be given
to NET qualified candidates.
Position : One Project Assistant (PA)
Duration : Three years
Fellowship : Rs. 8,000/- pm (consolidated)
Qualification : UG/PG in Science (or) any other discipline
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
