Qualification: M.Sc in Microbiology/ Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology/ Microbiology/ Mycology/ Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science/ Agricultural Chemistry/ Agronomy/ Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/ Horticulture/ Agricultural Extension. Or Certificate of competency as second hand of fishing vessel issued by the Mercantile Marine Department of Government of India/ MBBS.
