Fellowship details:

Duration of the fellowship: 22 months
Students with a valid GATE score are provided financial assistantship (in the form of Institute Assistantship/Scholarship) worth Rs. 12,400/- per month for 22 months.
Students in receipt of Institute Assistantship will be expected to carry out duties of Teaching and Research Assistantship assigned by the concerned Head of the Department.

Eligibility:

MS by Research in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering: B.Tech./BS (4-year) /M.Sc. or equivalent degree with 55% marks/5.5 CPI (on a 10-point scale), and a valid GATE score (GATE is waived for sponsored and part-time candidates).
MS by Research in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering: B.Tech./BS (4-year) or equivalent degree with 55% marks/5.5 CPI (on a 10-point scale), and a valid GATE score (GATE is waived for sponsored and part-time candidates).
MS by Research in Environmental Engineering and Management, and Photonics Science and Engineering: B.Tech./BS (4-year) /M.Sc. or equivalent degree with 55% marks/5.5 CPI (on a 10-point scale), and a valid GATE score (GATE is waived for sponsored and part-time candidates). Candidates having B.Sc. (3-year) or equivalent degree with 75% marks/7.5 CPI are also eligible to apply.
