Fellowship details:
- Duration of the Fellowship: 2 Years
- Number of posts: 29
- Fellows are provided with:
- emoluments, including allowances, will correspond to that of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor of Central Universities respectively.
- an amount equal to annual increment in post in parent department according to the dates when it will falls due to you there.
- Senior Fellows/Fellows will be reimbursed contingent expenses up to the ceiling limit of Rs.30,000/- per annum, while Junior Fellows will be reimbursed contingent expenses up to the ceiling limit of Rs.25,000/- per annum, which they may incur on travel, purchase of stationery, books, typing, photocopying, etc.
- The outstation Fellows are entitled to get Traveling Allowance while joining the fellowship and after the completion of the tenure of fellowship.
Eligibility:
- Senior Fellow: Scholars of eminence who have made a significant contribution to the knowledge in their respective fields and preferably have experience of conducting and guiding research.
- Fellow: Good academic record, a PhD or equivalent published work and at least five years teaching/post doctoral research experience.
- Junior Fellow: These positions are open to candidates with a good academic record and/or scholarly publications, and preferably a PhD degree.
