Postal Assistant (PO): 26 Posts Qualification: 10+2 standard or 12th class pass from a recognised University/ Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject (excluding Vocational streams). Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 +Grade Pay Rs.2400/- + allowances as admissible under rules. Sorting Assistant (RMS): 04 Posts Qualification: 10+2 standard or 12th class pass from a recognised University/ Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject (excluding Vocational streams). Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 +Grade Pay Rs.2400/- + allowances as admissible under rules. PA SBCO: 01 Post Qualification: 10+2 standard or 12th class pass from a recognised University/Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject (excluding Vocational streams). Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 +Grade Pay Rs.2400/- + allowances as admissible under rules. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) (Erstwhile Group D): 02 Posts Qualification: Matriculation Pass or ITI from recognised Board. The candidate should have studied local language (I.e. Punjabi) of the Punjab State or Hindi as a subject at least up to Matriculation or equivalent. Candidates with higher qualifications are not entitled for any weight age in the process. Candidates who have passed Vocational course or job-oriented course only are not eligible. Candidate must have computer application/typing knowledge up to the required standard. Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1800/- + other admissible allowances. Age (As on 20/07/15): 18 to 27 years Application Fee: Rs.100/- Examination Fee: 400/-.
