Eligibility For PhD Engineering/Pharmacy stream candidates must have a basic Engineering/Pharmacy and Post Graduate Degree/ or equivalent degree in relevant discipline. PhD in Computer Science and Engineering Dept. B.Tech and M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering Dept . or equivalent Or M.Sc. or M.Sc. (Comp. Sc) with mathematics as a subject or MCA and M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering Dept. or equivalent Pharm-D degree holders are also eligible for Pharmacy stream Science, Humanities and Management stream candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree / or equivalent degree in relevant discipline. Food Technology: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Home Science/Agriculture/ Horticulture/Food Tech./Food Sciences &Nutrition/Veterinary Science/M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/Dairy Technology/Bio-Technology / or equivalent degree. Bio-Technology: M.Sc. in Bio- Technology/Chemistry/ Botany/Zoology/ Biochemistry/Food Tech./ Microbiology or M.Tech. (Bio-Technology) / or equivalent degree. If the PG Qualification is obtained through distance mode, the program must have the recognition of the Joint committee of AICTE, UGC and Distance Education Council. M.Phil.: candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree/ or equivalent degree in relevant discipline. M.S.(by research):Candidates must have B.E./B.Tech. degree or its equivalent in the relevant branch/discipline. Selection Criteria: Final selection will be based on entrance test and / or interview. The date and time of the entrance Test will be intimated to the eligible candidates. The candidates who are qualified in UGC/CSIR (JRF) Examination/NET/SLET/ SET/Valid GATE/GPAT or who possesses relevant M.Phil. (in case of applying for PhD) need not appear for the Entrance examination. However, they shall attend the interview on the specified date which will be intimated to them. Candidates who have obtained M.Phil. degree by distance mode are not eligible for this exemption. How to apply Application complete in all respects (in A4 size) accompanied with a Demand Draft for Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) (Rs. 500 in case of SC/ST candidates) drawn in favor of “THE REGISTRAR, JNTUA, ANANTHAPURAMU” payable at Ananthapuramu on any nationalized bank (preferably SBI) towards Registration fee and three self addressed stamped envelope covers of size 22x10cms (Affixing Rs.5/- stamps), is to be submitted to “The Director of Admissions, JNT University Anantapur, Ananthapuramu - 515 002” either in person or by Registered post/ Courier.
