Eligibility Candidates should have a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and: For All Programs: Minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry For Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Genetic Engineering Programs: Minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics / Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The applicant for admission should be a resident Indian national and Should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years for admission to undergraduate program. Should have studied in educational institutions in India and completed their qualifying examination. How to Apply Candidates can apply on online. There are two modes of registration: Online with e-payment / Unique Voucher Code: Candidates can register and pay online / use prepaid unique voucher code. Online with Demand Draft: Application to be fi­lled online by visiting and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the DD for Rs. 900/- drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. Candidates can also obtain the application form from any of the sources upon payment of Rs. 900/-. All payments are to be made only in the form of a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of “SRMIST”, payable at Chennai. Selection Procedure Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMEEE-2015) conducted by the university. The candidates short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counseling to be held at the SRM university premises.
