OPC Scholarship @ The University of Nottingham (UK)

The University of Nottingham (UK) invites application for Oilfield Production Consultants (OPC) scholarship for undergraduate students studying at The University of Nottingham (UK) who have undertaken a placement in the oil or gas industries. Award: The scholarship will be a single award of £2,500. The scholarship will be awarded after the industrial placement and a successful interview. Two scholarships are available every year until 2015 (incl)* Limited to one award per student. Eligibility:i). Be studying on a BEng/ MEng/ B.Sc. degree in the Department of Civil Engineering; Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering; Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering; or the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering at The University of Nottingham in the UK. ii). Preference will be given to UK home students though EU/overseas students may apply. iii). Have spent time in the oil and gas industry either on a summer placement (minimum of 10 weeks) in 2015 or be on a one-year placement which began in 2014 and ends in 2015. iv). Must be returning into their third year of their BEng/ B.Sc. study, or the fourth year of their MEng study at Nottingham when applying for the scholarship.
