Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, invites applications for admission into its MCA and lateral entry to MCA programmes offered in the Department of Computer Applications for the session 2014-15. Eligibility For MCA programmes: Candidates should have pass in any recognized bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration (10 + 2 + 3 / 4 years pattern) in any discipline with core Mathematics (or) Business Mathematics at +2 level or A pass in any recognized Bachelor's degree with 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern with Mathematics at diploma level or Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or A pass in any recognized bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration (10 + 2+ 3 pattern) in any discipline with Mathematics or Statistics as any one of the subjects. For Lateral Entry to MCA programme: Candidates should have a pass in bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology) or equivalent with Mathematics as a course at Higher Secondary level or at graduate level. How to ApplyApplication form and prospectus can be obtained either in person or by post from the Registrar on payment of Rs. 500/- for each program (Rs. 250/- in the case of SC/ ST candidates on production of attested photocopy of community certificate) through demand draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Bharathiar University payable at Coimbatore”. Selection Procedure The selection will be made on the basis of Bharathiar University MCA Entrance Test (BUMCAET 2014) conducted by the institute.
