ICSSR Institutional Doctoral Fellowships @ Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies (NCCDS)

Scholarship Details: The Centre offers Six ICSSR Doctoral Fellowships only in Economics, Sociology and Social Anthropology, out of which one is reserved for in-service teachers in Lecturer grade with provision for salary protection. The selected candidates will be paid a fellowship amount of Rs.16,000/- per month and Rs.15,000/- per annum as contingency grant for two years extendable by one year in exceptional cases only. Eligibility: Post Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks. The candidate should have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET for JRF/ Lectureship)/ M.Phil./ or two research articles published in reputed social science journals (reprints to be attached). The applicant must be registered for PhD under the guidance of a faculty member of the Centre as main supervisor but those who are not yet registered may also apply. They will have to get register/ registered as the case may be within six months of award of fellowship.
