Switzerland Government invites applications for Excellence Scholarships for students pursuing their PhD, post doctoral and research programs programmes for the academic year 2015-16.
Scholarship DetailsExcellence Scholarships includes
PhD Scholarships:
- The scholarship amounts to a monthly payment of 1’920 Swiss Francs.
- Exemption of the tuition fees (except for EPFL).
Postdoctoral Scholarships:
- The scholarship amounts to a monthly payment of 3’500 Swiss Francs.
- Exemption of the tuition fees (except for EPFL).
Research Scholarships:
- The scholarship amounts to a monthly payment of 1’920 Swiss Francs.
- Exemption of the tuition fees (except for EPFL).
Eligibility
- For PhD Scholarships: Candidates should have master degree or equivalent university degree recognized by the Swiss University.
- For Postdoctoral Scholarships: Candidates should have PhD degree. There cannot be a gap of more than 5 years between the award of the PhD and the application deadline.
- For Research Scholarships: Candidates should have master degree or equivalent University degree. The applicant must not be more than 35 years old at the moment of the application.
How to Apply
- The application package can be obtained by e-mail from the Swiss Embassy in New Delhi.
- Applications have to be submitted in 3 copies (hard copies only).
