Science Scholarships @ Biotechnology Finishing School

Online Applications are invited for Scholarship in to one year job oriented Post Graduate Diploma Programmes, catering to the needs of Biotech –Industry, through the Biotechnology Finishing Schools (BFTS), Karnataka. Scholarship Details Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India has agreed to extend a fellowship support of Rs. 10,000/- per month to every student enrolled to the BTFS program. Students feel BTFS PG Diploma course is absolutely free because entire fee is returned to them in the form of fellowship every month throughout the academic year. Eligibility Criteria Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in Masters degree from Universities of the state or any other University recognized as equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or any other life science related courses; BE/ B.Tech. – Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary, MBBS and BDS are also eligible to apply. In certain exceptional cases (Plant Tissue Culture Micropropagation domain at MMAS - Sirsi & St. Aloysius College – Mangalore) B.Sc degree holders are eligible. Upon selection, a provisional degree certificate should be submitted to the respective colleges within two weeks of course commencement.
