Biotechnology Finishing School, (BFTS), Bangalore, is inviting applications for Scholarship to its Post Graduate Diploma Programme for the academic year 2014-15. Scholarship DetailsDepartment of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India offers fellowship support of Rs. 10,000 /- per month to every student enrolled to the BTFS program. Students feel BTFS PG Diploma course is absolutely free because entire fee is returned to them in the form of fellowship every month throughout the academic year. Programmes on Offer Bioinformatics & Rational Drug Design Cellular & Molecular Diagnostics Fermentation & Bioprocessing Nutraceuticals & Food Processing Plant Tissue Culture & Micro Propagation Plant Genetic Transformation Genome, Seed and Marker Analysis Pre Clinical Research, Clinical Research Biostatistics & Data Management Protein Expression & Scale –Up Eligibility Criteria Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in Masters degree from Universities of the state or any other University recognized as equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or any other life science related courses; BE/ B.Tech. – Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary, MBBS and BDS are also eligible to apply. In certain exceptional cases (Plant Tissue Culture & Micro propagation domain at MMAS - Sirsi & St. Aloysius College – Mangalore) B.Sc. degree holders are eligible. Upon selection, a provisional degree certificate should be submitted to the respective colleges within two weeks of course commencement.
