Girl Child Scholarship Scheme @ Science Olympiad Foundation

SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) New Delhi, invites applications for (GCSS) Girl Child Scholarship Scheme for the academic year 2014-15. It is an endeavor by SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) provided to economically poor girls to continue their school education. Scholarship Details GCSS aim is to donate towards the education of academically disposed girl children across India coming from economically weaker section. The scholarship amount of Rs. 5000/- each will be given to 300 needy girls for their education for one year. Girls will be selected from proposals received from schools in India. The selection of the GCSS children will be done through suggestions sent by schools. The GCS will be paid in 2 installments. Cheque for the requisite amount, in favor of the selected child, will be dispatched at the school address. Eligibility Criteria The girl being chosen must be studying in recommending school in class one to class twelve. The Girl Student should have scored at least 60% or equivalent grade in previous class. The girl student should score at least 60% or equivalent grade in her 1st term exams.
