Project title: “Genetic diversity of Chilo partellus populations in relation to augmentative biocontrol with Trichogramma chilonis.”
a. Position Name/Vacancy: SRF/ 01 No.
Emoluments: Rs.14000/- + 30% HRA.
Qualification: Essential:M.Sc. in Entomology/ Zoology (with Entomology)/ Life Sciences.
Desirable: Experience in Entomology, knowledge of Computer, and NET or equivalent like GATE qualified.
b. Position Name/Vacancy: JRF for 1st & 2nd Years & SRF for 3rd Year / 01 No.
Emoluments: Rs.12000/- + 30% HRA per Month for I & II Year; and Rs.14000/- + 30% HRA for III Year.
Qualification:
Essential: M.Sc. in Entomology/ Zoology (with Entomology)/ Life Sciences.
Desirable: Experience in field and laboratory based research in Entomology, knowledge of Computer, and NET or equivalent like GATE qualified.
c. Position Name/Vacancy: Lab Assistant / 01 No.
Emoluments: Rs.8000/- (Fixed).
Qualification: Essential:1st Class B.Sc. in Zoology/ Life Sciences (for Lab Assistant Level II).
Desirable: Experience in handling of laboratory equipments, and rearing and maintenance of animals especially the insects.

Desirable: Experience in Entomology, animal/insect genetics, knowledge of Computer, and NET or equivalent like GATE qualified.

Emoluments: Rs.8000/- (Fixed)
Qualification: Essential: 1st Class B.Sc. in Zoology/ Life Sciences (for Lab Assistant Level II)
Desirable: Experience in handling of laboratory equipments, and rearing and maintenance of animals especially the insects.
Age Limit: 35 years (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/ and women candidate as per govt. guidelines) for SRF and JRF; and 28 years for Lab Assistant (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/ and women candidate as per Govt. /ICAR guidelines).
Walk-in Interview: Interested candidates needs to walk-in on 10/01/2014 at 10 AM with two copies of their bio-data, two passport size photographs and one set of attested copies of their certificates/mark sheets/experience proof. Candidates should bring original certificates for verification at the time of interview.
