Online applications for appearing at the Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common entrance Test (TS DEECET – 2017) to be conducted by Dept. of School Education, Govt of Telangana shortly, are invited from eligible candidates who intend to take admission into two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed) in Government District Institutes of Education & Training (DIETs) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state.
Eligibility: Candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination with 50% of marks in aggregate.
Age: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit.
How to Apply: Candidates can submit their applications online from 10.05.2017 to 24.05.2017.

1. Bachelor of Design (B.Des)
Eligibility: Passed Secondary School Examination/10th. Or Passed Senior Secondary Examination/ 12th recognized by AIU. Passed 3 or 4-years diploma. Having attended courses related to Fashion/ Apparel/ Textile and Accessories/ Home Science/ Handloom Technology/ Products/ Visual Communication/ Graphic Design/ Industrial Design/ Interior Design/ Multimedia Design/ Apparel Technology/ Leather. Or Students who have completed 2 year regular UG Diploma Programme at NIFT after passing Senior Secondary Examination/ 12th Standard.
2. Bachelor of Fashion Technology(Apparel Production) (B.FTech.)
Eligibility: Passed Secondary School Examination/10th. Passed 3 or 4-years textile technology/ textile engineering/ textile chemistry diploma. Or Passed Senior Secondary Examination/ 12th Standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Having successfully completed diploma (including NIFT) of minimum 02 year duration related to Fashion/ Apparel/ Textile/ Home Science/ Handloom Technology.
