Eligibility: Candidates do not possess Intermediate (or) its Equivalent Qualification are eligible to appear for the Eligibility Test for seeking admission into I year of the B.A./ B.Com/ B.Sc (3 Year Degree Programmes) for the Academic Year 2016-17, provided they have completed 18 years of age by 1st July 2016.

M.Com, M.Sc (Eco) & Museology, M.A courses in: Bengali, Comparative Indian Language & Literature, English, Linguistics, Pali, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic & Persian, French, Buddhist Studies, History, Ancient Indian History & Culture, Islamic History & Culture, Archaeology, Museology, Philosophy, Pol. Science, Sociology, Economics , South & South East Asian Studies, Education, Journalism & Mass Communication & Commerce.
Selection: Selection will be made strictly in order of merit on the basis of percentage of marks for 60% of seats for C.U. current year students and rest 40% of seats on the basis of subject wise Entrance Test for Non C.U. and C.U. Students along with back year students. Under the category of 40% of seats students will be admitted on basis of a MCQ test on OMR sheet with 50 questions on the subject each carrying 2 marks.
