JEE (Main) – 2016 (Last date: 31.12.2015)

Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2016 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc.
Details of examination: JEE (Main) – 2016 shall have two papers, Paper-1 (B.E. / B. Tech.) and Paper-2(B. Arch./ B. Planning). Depending upon on the course (s) candidates are seeking admission, may take Paper-1 B.E. / B. Tech.), or Paper-2 B. Arch./ B. Planning), or both.
Qualifying Examination: Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 or 2015: or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016.

General Candidates: Born or after October 01, 1991.
Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person with Disabilities (PwD) candidates: Born or after October 01, 1986.
Offline examination (Pen and Paper Based Examination): 03.04.2016- Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) ; 03.04.2016- Paper 2 (B. Arch./ B. Planning)
Online examination (Computer Based Examination) for Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) Only: 09.04.2016 (Saturday) & 10.04.2016 (Sunday)- Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.)
Application Form: Candidates have to apply online only through JEE (Main) website. The online application process will start from 1st December, 2015 onwards. The last date for application is 31st December, 2015.
