Ashok Khurana Scholarship Programme, 2016 @ University of Adelaide

Scholarships Areas of Study:
  • Education
  • Agriculture (including Food Security and Wine)
  • Health Services (including Biotechnology)
  • Clean Technology
  • Environment (including Urban Planning and Architecture)
  • Aerospace
  • Resources and any other programs

Scholarship Details:
  • Number of Scholarships: 1
  • Scholarship is valued at $25,000 for one year, payable towards the recipient's airfares, living expenses and tuition fees.
  • Scholar may also receive an additional 50% discount on the tuition fees for one year.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
  • Be international students with Indian citizenship who are commencing a postgraduate coursework program.
  • Have met the University’s minimum English language requirement
  • Have an unconditional offer at the University of Adelaide prior to applying for this scholarship.

Selection Process:
  • Applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit and a personal statement which demonstrates outstanding leadership qualities and an intention to significantly enhance India's development in their field of study upon completion of their studies.

  • Scholarship valued of AU$5,000 towards your tuition fees per academic year over the duration of the undergraduate program.
    • AU$10,000 - 2 year programs
    • AU$15,000 - 3 year programs

    • AU$25,000 - 5 year programs

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
  • be an Indian citizen

    Motorola Scholar Awards Programme, 2015-2016

    Contest Details:
    • The project team (batch) can have upto a maximum of four students.
    • Prizes:
      • First prize: Rs. 75,000/- (Rs. 60,000/- to Students Team and Rs. 15,000/- to Project Guide)
      • Second prize: Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. 40,000/- to Students Team and Rs. 10,000/- to Project Guide)
      • Third prize: Rs. 30,000/- (Rs. 24,000/- to Students Team and Rs. 6,000/- to Project Guide)
      • Special Prize: Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. 25,000/- to Students team)

    Eligibility:
    • Bonafide students doing BE / MCA courses in final year are eligible to participate in this contest. Students should be studying in a recognized college / institute / university.

    Selection Criteria:
    • The selection is based on the evaluation of the completed projects through a Seminar-cum-Exhibition and best projects will be awarded with Cash Prize and Certificates in Motorola Scholar Awards Presentation Function.

    How to Apply:
    The team should submit:
    • A letter from the principal of their institution stating that they are bonafide students of the institution studying for the degree in the final year.
    • The project proposal in the prescribed form signed by their project advisor and principal.
    • A declaration that the work proposed will be taken up exclusively for the Motorola Scholar Contest.
    • An undertaking that if the project is selected, they will take it up, complete within three months and submit the detailed project Report to FAER.
    • The Principal / HoD should give us an assurance that facilities required will be provided to the selected students. This may be part of the proposal.
