Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) (Last date: 31.08.2015)

Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (M.Des.) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur, and PhD programmes in Design at some Institutes. CEED is organized by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay).
Programmes: M.Des./ Ph.D.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Architecture/ Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years programme after 10 + 2). Or Professional Diploma in Design (NID/ CEPT or equivalent of 4 years programme after 10 + 2). Or B.F.A. (4 year professional programme after 10 + 2). Or G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year post qualification professional experience. Or Master’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10 + 2 + 3).

CSIR - National Eligibility Test (NET) (Last date: 25.08.2015)

CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test Tentatively on Sunday 20th December, 2015 for determining the eligibility candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology.
Subjects of the test:
1. Chemical Sciences
2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
3. Life Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Physical Sciences
Eligibility: M.Sc degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ BTech/ BPharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks.
Age limit: For JRF (NET)- Maximum 28 years as on 01.07.2015. For LS (NET)- No upper age limit.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) - Sept 2015 (Last date: 19.08.2015)

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the 8th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 20.09.2015 for candidates to be eligible for appointment as teacher for Class I to VIII.
Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
