Research Fellowships, 2015 @ NLIU, Bhopal

Scholarships Areas of Research:
  • PhD Program in Intellectual Property Right
  • PhD Program in Renewable Energy

Fellowship Details:
  • Fellowship under Intellectual Property Right:
    • Each Fellow will receive fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- per month and a contingency grant of Rs. 25,000/- per annum for the initial year as Jr. Research Fellow(JRF)
    • Each Fellow will receive fellowship of Rs. 14,000/- per month and a contingency grant of Rs. 25,000/- per annum for second and third years as Sr. Research Fellow(SRF)
    • Fellows will also receive Departmental assistance for infrastructure of Rs. 3,000/-, escorts/reader assistance for physically/visually challenged of Rs. 2,000/- and House Rent Allowance as per rules
  • Fellowship under Renewable Energy:
    • Each Fellow will receive fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- per month plus HRA and a contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- per month for two years as Jr. Research Fellow(JRF)
    • Each Fellow will receive fellowship of Rs. 18,000/- per month plus HRA and a contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- per month for three years as Sr. Research Fellow(SRF)
  • For Extended SRF: Fellows will receive fellowship of Rs. 20,000/- per month plus HRA and a contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- per month until the date of viva voce or one year from the date of submission of thesis.

Eligibility:
  • Applicants must have LL.M degree with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

Selection Process:
  • Applicants must secure at least 50% marks in the Entrance Test and Interview conducted by NLIU, Bhopal.

Bridget Clarke Scholarship, 2015 @ King`s College London, UK

Scholarships Scholarship Details:
  • Number of Scholarships: 1
  • Scholarship worth of £1,000 is provided.

Eligibility:
  • Scholarship is open to all nationalities.
  • The scholarship will be offered to the strongest full-time applicant of MA in Early Modern History who is not in receipt of any other funding.

How to apply:
  • Applicants need not submit any application. All MA applications submitted by 1st July will be considered.

Important Dates:
  • Last date: 1st July, 2015
  • Result date: After 15th July.

TOEFL Merit Scholarship Program in India, 2015

ScholarshipsScholarship Details:
  • Number of Scholarships: 10
  • Each Scholarship is valued at US $7,000.

Eligibility:
Candidates must:
  • reside in India
  • start an undergraduate or graduate degree program between June 2015 and May 2016 at a college or university listed in the TOEFL Destination Search.
  • hold a grade point average of 80 or higher on a 100-point scale, or a 3.0 grade point average or higher on a 4-point scale
  • demonstrate English proficiency with a valid TOEFL score

Selection Process:
  • After applying with initial application, a total of 100 candidates are selected to submit additional information, which is due on 8th September, 2015.
  • The selected candidates must exhibit:
    • an outstanding ability to communicate
    • demonstrated leadership skills
    • well-rounded extracurricular activities, especially including community service
    • innovative ideas as reflected in essays
