PG Diploma in Archaeology Programme @ Institute of Archaeology, New Delhi

Adminissions Eligibility:
  • Master’s Degree in Ancient or Medieval Indian History/ Archaeology/ Anthropology/ Indian Classical languages such as Sanskrit, Pali, Prakit, Arabic or Persian or in Geology with knowledge of Pleistocene age from a recognized University or equivalent with a Minimum aggregate of 55% marks (50% in respect of candidates belonging to reserve categories as per Govt. rules)
  • The upper age limit as on 31st August, 2015 should not exceed 25 years, which is relaxable to the candidates belonging to reserve categories and departmental (Central/ State Govt./ University) officials as per Govt. rules.

Eligibility:

MA (History of Art)A Graduate Degree from Indian University
recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or a recognized
foreign University with minimum 50% marks. A Background in Social Science, Liberal Arts or Fine Arts is desirable.
MA (Conservation)A Graduate Degree from a recognized University with 50% marks in any of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Physics/
Geology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Computer Science/ Fine Arts/ History/ History of Art/Architecture/ Archaeology/ Museology/ Designing or a Diploma recognized as equivalent to graduate degree in any of these fields.
MA (Museology)BA/ B.Sc. (Honours) or BA/ B.Sc./ BFA (3 Years) in any discipline under Humanities and Social Sciences/ Science from a recognized University with 50% marks. A Background/ PG Diploma in subjects related to History of
Art and Museum studies is desirable.
