Study Subjects: For B.Tech.: Food Technology and Management For M.Tech.: Food Supply Chain Management Food Safety and Quality Management Food Process Engineering and Management Food Plant Operations Management Food Technology and Management For PhD: Agriculture and Environment Sciences Basic and Applied Sciences Food Engineering Food Business Management Food Science and Technology Scholarship details: For B.Tech.: Duration of the scholarship: 4 Years Number of Seats: 180 Meritorious Students of NIFTEM are provided with Tuition fee waiver and fixed monthly stipend in the form of NIFTEM Merit Scholarship and NIFTEM Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship. Assistance through earn while you learn programme For M.Tech.: Duration of the scholarship: 2 Years Number of Seats: 18 in each M.Tech. Programme Meritorious Students of NIFTEM are provided with Tuition fee waiver and fixed monthly stipend in the form of NIFTEM Merit Scholarship and NIFTEM Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship. Gate qualified Indian nationals will receive Rs. 8,000/- per month as stipend. Assistance through earn while you learn programme For PhD: Number of Seats: 20 for each Programme Scholars qualified in NET are provided with NIFTEM PhD Fellowship of Rs.16,000/- per month for first year, Rs. 18,000/- per month for second and Rs. 20,000/- per month for third year respectively. Scholars without NET shall be provided with a Scholarship of Rs.12,000/- per month. Eligibility: For B.Tech.: Candidates who have passed their Class 12th exam with Physics, Mathematics and one of the subjects from Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects. Candidate must be appearing in JEE (Main) – 2015. For M.Tech.: Four Year's Bachelor's Degree or a Master's degree in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. For PhD: M.Tech./ME/Master's Degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks. Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates. Selection Process: For B.Tech.: Candidates are selected based on JEE (Main) All India Overall Rank. For M.Tech.: Candidates are selected based on Valid GATE Score/NIFTEM Entrance Test. The Non-GATE Candidates are selected based on Interview. For PhD: Candidates are selected through Research Entrance Test organized by NIFTEM at NIFTEM Campus, Kundli.
