Fellowship scheme includes:
- Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Junior Research Fellowship (BANJRF) for M.Phil.
- Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Senior Research Fellowship (BANSRF) for PhD
Tenure of the Fellowship:
- For BANJRF(M.Phil.): 2 Years
- For BANSRF(PhD): 3 Years

Eligibility:

The fellowship is open for the SC candidates belonging to Maharashtra State.
The Candidate should have passed the Post Graduate examination in the concerned discipline and who desire to pursue full-time research and are not recipients of the JRF of UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/RGNF or any other fellowship.
The candidate may not have necessarily registered for M.Phil./PhD programs at the time of application. However, in such cases, the candidate must get registered for M.Phil./ PhD at the first available opportunity but not later than/ within a period of two years from the receipt of fellowship award letter from BARTI.

Scholarship details:

Eligibility:

Applicants who have already received any awards in National/ International Exhibitions and or received Research Grant/Scholarship of the Lalit Kala Akademi in the past are not eligible to apply.
The State or Union Territory in which the applicant has been residing for at least 3 years in the recent past will be the State or Union Territory from which he would be deemed to be applying.
