RGNIYD invites applications for admission to the full time Ph.D programmes in the areas of Gender Studies, Local Governance, Life Skills Education and Development Studies.
Details:
Admission to Ph.D. (2014) in Youth Development (Inter Disciplinary)
Eligibility: Master’s Degree in the above mentioned Areas/ Social Sciences / Humanities with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% for SC/ ST/ Differently abled category). For part time Ph.D two years of work experience in the relevance field is mandatory. Candidates with M.Phil/ JRF/ NET/ SLET are exempted from entrance examination, however, have to appear for the interview.
Selection Procedure: Based on the performance in the Entrance Test and Personal Interview conducted by the Institute. Reservation of seats and relaxation of marks will be as per Government of India Rules.
Application Procedure: The duly filled in application form with all the requisite enclosures should be submitted along with the demand draft for Rs.500 towards application fees. Demand Draft must be drawn on a nationalised bank in favour of The Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, payable at Sriperumbudur.
