Indian Coast Guard: Navik (Domestic Branch)

Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian nationals possessing educational qualifications and age, as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Navik {Domestic Branch (Cook & Steward)} in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union Navik (Domestic Branch)

Qualification: Matriculate with 50% marks in aggregate from an education board recognised by Central/State Government. Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years i.e. between 01 Apr 1993 to 31 Mar 1997. (Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Warwick Engineering Scholarships @ University of Warwick

University of Warwick, UK, invites applications for Warwick Engineering Scholarships for students pursuing their undergraduate program offered at School of Engineering for the academic year 2014.

Scholarship Details
Each scholarship is valued at 4,000 GBP.

Eligibility
The Scholarships are open to overseas domicile applicants from the Great China, South East Asia and South Asia regions who holds the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick as their firm/first choice.

UTS President’s Scholarships @ University of Technology Sydney

University of Technology Sydney, Australia, invites applications for UTS President’s Scholarships for students undertaking a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at the University for the session 2014.

Scholarship Details
  • The scholarship is provided to assist with general living costs.
  • The amount is AUD $25,392 per annum and is paid in equal fortnightly installments to the student bank account.

Eligibility
Candidates must be an overseas student
  • Candidates must be a holder of a international student visa, meeting requirements as specified by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA), including the requirement to purchase and maintain a standard Overseas Student Health Cover policy approved by the Commonwealth Government Department of Health and Ageing.
  • Applicants must have completed a bachelor degree with first class honors, or be regarded by the University as having an equivalent level of attainment.
