National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Mumbai, invites applications from interested candidates for admission in to its PhD programme for the academic year 2014 -15. Eligibility Criteria Candidates with M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/ M.Pharma./ M.V.Sc. or MBBS with not less than 60% marks for general category candidates and not less than 55% for SC/ST candidates in all major examinations from higher secondary (10 + 2) onwards), and willing to take up challenges in modern biology through PhD programme of the Institute may submit their application in the prescribed format. Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination in the academic year 2013-2014 may also apply. Such candidates found suitable will be allowed to appear for interview and have to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission. Candidates who have qualified in the PhD entrance test (PET) conducted by the University of Mumbai OR qualified in the fellowship examination conducted by CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT only are eligible to apply. M.Pharma./M.Tech. (Professional Course) candidates with GATE score of 95 percentile or above are also eligible to apply. Upper age limit is 28 years as on 6th June 2014 (the deadline for submission of application) and it is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped persons as well as women candidates as per Government of India rules in this regard.
