An open Army Recruitment rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Arm0y Recruiting Office, Visakhapatnam from 01 Mar 2014 to 09 Mar 2014 at Police Training College Ground, Vizianagaram to enrol eligible candidates into the Army from six districts of Andhra Pradesh viz. Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna and Yanam (Puducherry) in Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant/Veterinary, Soldier General Duty, Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical and Soldier Tradesman categories and DSC (only for ex-service man).
Post Details:
1. Soldier Technical
Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass (XII) pass in Science simple pass with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
2. Soldier Technical (AVN & AMN Examiner)
Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate in Science with Physics Chemistry, Maths and English with min. 40% marks in each subject and min. 50% in aggregate.
3. Soldier Nursing Assistant / Soldier Nursing Assistant Veterinary
Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate in Science with Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology with min. 40% in each subject and min. 50% in aggregate.
4. Soldier General Duty
Qualification: SSC/10th pass with min. 33% D Grade (33-40) in each subject and min. 45% or C-2 grade or 4.75 points in aggregate.
5. Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical
Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate pass from in any stream (Arts, Science & Commerce) with min. 40% or C-2 grade in each subject and min. 50% or 5 points in aggregate. Should have studied and passed English and Maths / Accts /Book Keeping in Class 10th or 10+2 level with 40% in each subject.
6. Soldier Tradesman (All ARMS)
Qualification: 8th Class Pass / SSC/10th Class / ITI Pass.
Selection Procedure: Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical, Common Entrance Examination.

Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate (XII) Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English
2. Soldier Technical Aviation
Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate (XII) Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English / Three years diploma in Engg (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobiles / Computer Science Mechanical Engg and Electronic & Instrumentation Engg).
3. Soldier Nursing Assistant
Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate or B.Sc Degree (Botony/ Zoology/Bio Science) and English (simple pass) Stipulation of marks laid down at 10+2 level will not be applicable for B.Sc degrees.
4. Soldier General Duty
Qualification: 10th passed with min 33% in each subject /C2 Grade or 4.75 Points in Grade System and 45% marks in aggregate except additional subject. 10 + 2 simple pass in all subjects.
5. Soldier Tradesman
Qualification: 8th Class Pass / 10th Class Pass.
6. Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical
Qualification: Should have secured 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in class XII.
Selection Procedure: Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical, Common Entrance Examination.
