The Karnataka Examination Authority is inviting applications for conducting the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2014 for admissions to Medical and Dental courses for the academic year 2014. Eligibility Criteria The applicant is required to pass Karnataka 2 PUC/12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subject and English with one of the languages of study. He/She must have secured 50% marks in aggregate. How to apply? JEE -2014 for B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration @ NCHMCT

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), is inviting applications for conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE -2014) for admission into its 3-year full time regular program in B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration for the academic year beginning 2014. Eligibility Criteria The candidates must have passed or are appearing in 10+2 Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. The candidates must have passed English in the qualifying examination. The upper age limit for General/OBC category candidates is 22 years as on July 1, 2014 and 25 years for SC/ST candidates. Spoken English Course for January 2014 Session @ Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad

Vivekananda Institute of Languages, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, is inviting applications for admission to Spoken English Course for January 2014 Session. About the Course The duration for the whole course is of 4 sessions: Basic, Junior, Senior and Advanced levels. Each session is of three months duration. Classes are held thrice a week on alternate days as follows: MWF Batch - Monday, Wednesday, Friday OR 115 Batch - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday Eligibility Criteria The minimum qualification required to join Spoken English course is SSC pass. The minimum age limit for obtaining application form is above 17 years (born on or before 1997) and the maximum age limit is 50 years (born in or after 1964). Selection Procedure The selection procedure is as follows: The applicants will be selected based on the marks obtained in the SSC only. Preference will be given to the students who have scored less mark in English at SSC level.
