General Information:

1) Posts are Permanent/Contract
2) Age is relaxable for internal candidates.3) Relaxation of age for OBC/PWD candidates is applicable as per rules.
4) No interim correspondence will be entertained.

5) Persons employed in Government and Semi-Government organization or Educational Institution must
send hard copy of their online application through proper channel. To avoid delay, an advance copy of such
online application complete in all respect, may be sent super scribing on the top of the application,
"ADVANCE COPY".
6) The applications received in response to advertisement will be scrutinized and short-listed candidates only
will be called for test/interview. Merely fulfilling the requirements laid down in the advertisement will not
automatically entitle any candidate to be called for interview.
7) Candidates other than SC/ST/PWD and women candidates must pay application fee online or send a
Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (non-refundable) drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Mumbai, in favour
of Registrar, IIT Bombay along with the application.
8) Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed air fare by economy class (by Air India
only) to the Institute and back from city of your residence (in India) by the shortest route on production of
the proof of onward journey and return journey (Photocopy of the ticket/receipt and the Boarding Pass for
onward journey). Fare will not be paid on the spot, but will be reimbursed subsequently.
9) The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post advertised.

10) Candidates desirous to apply for more than one post should send separate application for each post
(Asstt. Registrar/ Deputy Registrar).
11) Hard copy of online application received after the last date, unsigned, without enclosures or incomplete
in any other respect shall not be considered.
12) The application may be sent sufficiently in advance avoiding postal delays.
13) In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even
after the issue of appointment letter, the Institute reserves the right to modify/ withdraw/ cancel any
communication made to the candidates.
14) Eligibility of a candidate and satisfaction of any other Shortlisting criteria shall be considered as on the
closing date of online application interface.
15) No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct and result of
test/ interview and reasons for not being called for test/ interview.

The candidate shall submit a Demand Draft (CTS-2010 compliant) of Rs.300/-(Rs.75/-for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Tata Memorial Centre, Parel, Mumbai – 400012 by Post and a recent passport size photograph, attested copies of all certificates regarding Date of Birth, Educational qualification, Experience Certificates, Caste Certificate, Physically Handicapped Certificate etc. along with the copy of online application form on or before the last date of receiving the applications to the H.R.D. OFFICER, TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, PAREL, MUMBAI-400 012. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Female candidates are exempted from paying of fees while submitting application.

Persons working under Central/State Government/Autonomous Body/ Semi Government Organizations and other Public Sector Undertakings must submit their application forwarded through the head of the organization.

Separate applications should be submitted for each post.

Applicant will not be allowed to withdraw any fee paid under any circumstances.

Tata Memorial Centre also reserves the right not to call any candidate to appear in the written examination and / or interview without assigning any reason there for.

The Tata Memorial Centre reserves the right to fix minimum eligibility standard / bench mark and restrict no. of candidates to be called for interview taking into account various factors like no. of vacancies, performance of the candidate etc. and decided to determine the qualifying marks for selecting candidates for the interview.  The Tata Memorial Centre also reserves the right to fix minimum eligibility standard/cut-off marks (Group/Stream/Discipline/Category-wise etc.) while finalizing such candidates to be called for interview as well as selecting the candidates for final selection after the interview.   The decision of the Director, Tata Memorial Centre in this regards shall be final and binding and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained with the candidates.

Admission to written test (if required) / issuance of call letter for interview is purely on provisional basis without verification of age, qualification, category of candidate with reference to the relevant documents.  The verification of documents for the successful candidates in the written test will be done at the time of interview.

In case it is found at any stage of recruitment that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and/or, the candidate has furnished any incorrect / false / incomplete information or has suppressed any material fact (s),  his / her candidature will be cancelled.  If any shortcoming is detected, even after appointment, the services of the candidate are liable to be terminated forthwith.  Therefore, before applying for any post, the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfills all the eligibility criteria under the norms mentioned in the advertisement.

For applying Online, the applicant must possess valid email ID and a facility to take printout of the  Acknowledgement Receipt. 

All correspondence with the applicant will be done through email only.  Information regarding call   letters etc. will be provided through email.  Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of related documents will be of the candidate.  Tata Memorial Centre will not be responsible for any loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate or delivery of emails to spam/bulk mail folder etc.
